Nuns’ Island, officially called Nuns’ Island, is a quiet suburban island, part of the Verdun borough, located to the south east of the Island of Montreal. It is separated from Montreal by a narrow channel, with the Saint-Lawrence River surrounding it on all sides. Nuns’ Island is known for its peaceful living and its abundance of parks and green space.

Nuns’ Island is a popular place for young families and busy professionals who travel to the city for work, as the commute is quite short. It’s known to be more of a posh area, so you’ll most likely find yourself surrounded by well-educated individuals as well as few well-known personalities from the city.
